Veintemilla was a short-lived province of Ecuador, located modern-day province of Carchi. It's capital and largest city was Tulcán. Veintemilla bordered Imbabura to the south, Colombia to the north, Esmeraldas to the west, and the Oriente (modern-day Sucumbíos) to the east.

The province was named after José de Veintemilla. Nowadays, the province is wildly forgotten due to it's short-lived existence.

Cantons

[edit]

The province had only one canton and it was the Tulcán Canton. The canton still exists in the present-day province of Carchi.
