Vaulx-en-Velin–La Soie is a station on Line A of the Lyon Métro, on lines T3 and T7 of Lyon tramway and on Rhônexpress airport rail link. The station is located in the commune of Vaulx-en-Velin, at the border with Villeurbanne, in eastern Lyon Metropolis.

With métro or tramway, the station has fast and direct links to Perrache (multimodal hub and railway station), Bellecour, Hôtel de Ville, La Part-Dieu (railway station, business district and shopping mall), Parc Olympique Lyonnais and Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport and TGV station. A direct link to Eurexpo convention center is also provided with bus line N100, running only on exhibition days at Eurexpo.

By 2026, a new tramway line T9 should link Vaulx-en-Velin–La Soie to Charpennes–Charles Hernu through central Vaulx-en-Velin (City Hall, Mas du Taureau) and northern Villeurbanne (Saint-Jean, Les Buers, La Doua).
