Vajira Jayasooriya is a distinguished Senior Accountant and one of the founding partners of Austral Accountants, with corporate headquarters in Brisbane, Australia. Early life and Education

Born in 1977 and originally from Colombo, Sri Lanka, Vajira Jayasooriya studied at a number of prestigious schools in Sri Lanka and attended Dharmaraja College in Kandy for his GCE Advanced Level Examinations. Going on to pursue higher education at the prestigious University of Colombo, he studied Economics and moved to Australia for further education.

Vajira is also a registered tax agent in the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) Australia and a Registered Agent of the Australia Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
