The untitled second Avatar: The Last Airbender related film is an upcoming American animated film produced by Avatar Studios. Set in the Avatar universe, it is the second of three animated theatrical films in development by Avatar Studios. The film will be released theatrically by Paramount Pictures.
Production
[edit]On February 24, 2021, ViacomCBS announced during its annual Investor Day the formation of Avatar Studios, a new division dedicated to the creation of projects based on Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. The series creators and executive producers Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino will serve as co-chief creative officers. The studio's first project is an animated theatrical film was set to begin production later in 2021.[1][2] In June 2022, it was announced two additional films were in development.[3][4]
