The untitled Resident Evil Village sequel is an upcoming survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. Development

[edit]

In spring 2024, rumors suggested that a new mainline title in the Resident Evil series had been in development since 2018, with a planned release in early 2025,[1] and might feature open world elements.[2] In July, Koshi Nakanishi, the director of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017), confirmed the development of the game.[3]
