The untitled Resident Evil Village sequel is an upcoming survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. It is the sequel to Resident Evil Village (2021) and the eleventh main game of the Resident Evil series. The development is led by Koshi Nakanishi, the director of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017).
Development
[edit]In spring 2024, rumors suggested that a new mainline title in the Resident Evil series had been in development since 2018, with a planned release in early 2025,[1] and might feature open world elements.[2] In July, Koshi Nakanishi, the director of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017), confirmed the development of the game.[3]
