An untitled Majorettes film is an upcoming American dance drama film written by Lauren Ashley Smith. It stars H.E.R..
Premise
[edit]An introverted ballet dancer (H.E.R.) from Los Angeles is sent by her parents to college in Atlanta, where she joins the majorettes team and attempts to overcome the school's cultural shock.

[edit]In April 2024, it was announced that an untitled majorettes inspired film was in development at 20th Century Studios, with Lauren Ashley Smith, and Oprah Winfrey, Scott Sanders, Carla Gardini, and Mara Jacobs serving as producers. H.E.R. was cast in the lead role, alongside producing the film.[1]
