The untitled Jake Kasdan Lego film is an upcoming adventure comedy film produced by The Lego Group, and Detective Agency. It is based on the Lego line of construction toys and a collaboration between production houses from the United States and Denmark, it is intended to be an installment in The Lego Movie franchise. The film will be directed by Jake Kasdan.
Production
[edit]In August 2022, a new Lego film was announced.[1] Aaron and Adam Nee were developing a live-action/animated hybrid film in July 2023,[2] and then in October 2024, three live-action films were in development for Universal Pictures. One was being developed to be directed by Jake Kasdan from script by Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul that was first drafted by Matt Rider and Kevin Burrows. Kasdan also produces with Melvin Mar through Detective Agency alongside Jill Wilfert and Ryan Christians at The Lego Group.[3]
