V.R. Hawkins (professionally known as Two Kittie) is an experimental/breakcore artist. Releasing his first SoundCloud album in 2024 and releasing his first official single to multiple streaming services later. Hawkins would later on publish his extended play, under the name of ‘Toxoplasmosis’ inspired by Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada.
In early September, Hawkins would release his hit To Sister on his single 'To Sister / TYpewriteR’. It was a very simple song that Hawkins made in his bedroom. TYpewriteR was for one of Hawkins unreleased films and the song was almost archived and forgotten before he released it on his debut single To Sister / TYpewriteR.
His first ever album released November 17, 2024 under the name of We Love Two Kittie which was his best release of the year. Hawkins would specify that it was one of his best decisions ever, gaining his first hundred monthly listeners after the albums release. His hits , Dove XI, sevoD erA ereH, and Aunts were all songs that gained the most attention. During the albums production, Hawkins would move into his ambient era. The song Aunts by Two Kittie was a song made for his aunts. As Hawkins said ‘my aunts are my biggest supporters’.
Hawkins released his SoundCloud exclusive named Gymraeg. He made the song by knocking over a bottle of soap, using an online synth and drum machine, and his sink to prove that he could make a song within around 45 minutes in his bedroom.
