Tucano is an Italian company specializing in bags and cases for work, travel, and leisure.
History
[edit]Founded in Milan in 1985 by Franco Luini, who is still the CEO today, Tucano began its journey in the computer market by developing a carry bag for the Macintosh Plus. Since then, the company has continued to produce bags, backpacks, and cases for MacBook, iPhone, and iPad.
In the early 2000s, Tucano introduced a line of technical nylon bags designed for the transportation and protection of laptops. The company has also been active in reducing the environmental impact of its product packaging, particularly in avoiding the use of plastic fibers.
International Presence
[edit]Tucano has a global presence in over 60 countries. In addition to its headquarters in Piazza Castello, Milan, Tucano has operational branches in the American territory, Dongguan, and Madrid.
Manufacturing
