On October 27, 2024, Republican nominee Donald Trump held a rally at Madison Square Garden, Midtown Manhattan, New York, as a part of his 2024 presidential re-election campaign, which was attended by over 20,000 people. Among of the speakers were JD Vance, Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump Jr., Hulk Hogan, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, and Donald's wife Melania Trump. The Trump rally was strongly compared to the 1939 Nazi rally, which also took place at a former Madison Square Garden, prior to the start of the rally. Some of the speakers' words were heavily criticized by major news outlets, including speaker Tony Hinchcliffe's joke on Latinos and Puerto Rico, and Donald Trump's multiple false claims during his remarks.
