Draft:Transport for London cyber attack
Appearance
In September 2024, Transport for London (TfL) suffered a cybersecurity attack.[1] This meant that customers couldn't access their contactless and oyster card history, and applying for refunds and delay repay was not possible. It also delayed the introduction of contactless payments beyond London.
The incident effected c. 5000 customers.[2]
