The psychiatric clinic of the North-Estonian Regional Hospital is a psychiatric hospital in the Merimetsa settlement on the territory of the former Seewald summer manor.
In 2018, North-Estonian Regional Hospital signed a contract for the design of a new psychiatric clinic building in the Mustamäe medical district.[1] The construction of the new psychiatric clinic was planned to start in 2020. Thou after more challenges the hospital will not be completed by 2023. The construction plan for the new psychiatric clinic of PERH (North-Estonian Regional Hospital) has been temporarily suspended as the project needs additional funding and plans need to be clarified.[2][3]
