The Winter of Frankie Machine is an upcoming film adaptation of the Don Winslow book of the same name (2007).
Production
[edit]In June 2023, Christopher Storer was revealed to have joined the project for Paramount Pictures.[1] Previously William Friedkin, Michael Mann, and Martin Scorcese had all been linked to bringing an adaptation to the big screen for Paramount.[2] Storer will reportedly direct from a Brian Koppelman and David Levien drafted script from which Scorsese was set to direct Robert De Niro in the lead role prior to their decision to switch instead to make The Irishman. The project will be produced by Shane Salerno and The Story Factory.[3]
