The Seven Five is an upcoming American biographical crime drama film directed by Ben Stiller, based on the documentary of the same name.
Plot
[edit]Police officer Michael Dowd corrupts the New York Police 75th precinct, leading to one of the largest police corruption scandals in New York City history.

[edit]On February 17, 2015, Yann Demange was in talks to direct with John Lesher and Megan Ellison producing the film,[1] and in March 2015, Demange signed on to direct with Scott Frank writing the script.[2] On January 25, 2018, Craig Gillespie was in talks to direct the movie with Eli Holzman producing with Lesher and Ellison.[3] On December 17, 2020, Ben Stiller was in talks to direct and produce the movie for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer with Tony McNamara writing the script instead of Frank.[4]
Casting
[edit]On December 17, 2020, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Nicholas Hoult were in talks to star as Dowd in the film.[4]
