The Reale$t

The Reale$t are Zambian Hip Hop/Rap artists based in the capital city (Lusaka).[1]

Biography

Thabo Mpofu better known by his stage name (Fresh Kid) was born on 24th march 1998 in the copperbelt province and went to Tug -Argan secondary school in Ndola. After finishing high school, the rapper moved to the capital (Lusaka) and studied procurement and supply chain management where he graduated with a diploma. Fresh Kid lost both his parents at the age of 15 and was raised by his aunt who made sure that Fresh Kid gets tertiary education (despite loving the streets) as well as his younger sister who attended the copperbelt university.

Career

Fresh Kid started writing songs in 2009 at the age of 11, by the time he turned 14 the rapper already wanted to blow up despite knowing very little about the music industry at the time after being inspired by Lil Wayne, Chris brown, Wiz Kid and Ice Prince Zamani.

He formed The Reale$t in 2020 and released their first hit single" STRUGGLE " in January 2021 which featured rapper Kunkeyani Tha Jedi.
