The OT Love Train is a Nigerian social media personality, comprised of married digital creators and entrepreneurs namely Olutoyosi and Oluwaseyi Adeneye.[5] In 2023, the duo was selected as a part of the YouTube Black Voices Creator Class.
Background
[edit]The duo grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and attended the same Sunday School.[6] They got married in 2019 and moved to Canada in 2021 in hopes of a better life.[7]
Career
[edit]Prior to pursuing a career in social media, The OT Love Train worked in the marketing and advertising industry but felt restricted in their creative expressions. They began creating content in 2017 as a fun way to utilize their creativity and talent.[8] They went viral severally through their ‘Men in Catering’[9] and ‘Legal Juggernaut’[10] videos, while building their brand ‘The OT Love Train’ across various social media platforms. They also adopted the monikers; Dorothy Tuash and Olus B, as their social media alter egos.
In 2023, they were selected to be a part of the YouTube Black Voices Creator Class[11] and have been featured on YouTube’s official page.[12] They also returned to their hometown briefly in 2023 and were guests on several news stations, where they were asked to discuss their most recent achievements.
Their vision is to become a consistent reference for black excellence[13] and are also passionate about promoting the importance of communication, mutual respect and authenticity in relationships.[14]
