The Mother is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by Mélanie Laurent and written by P. G. Cusschieri. It stars Michelle Yeoh.

[edit]A film package for The Mother written by P. G. Cuschieri was prepared for sale at the 2024 European Film Market by AGC Studios. Mélanie Laurent signed on to direct with Michelle Yeoh cast as the lead. Financed by 30West, Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee produced under their Thunder Road Films banner, alongside Arthur Sarkissian and John Schramm. AGC Studios' Stuart Ford served as executive producer. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in mid-2024.[1]
