The Mentalist is an American police procedural television series that first aired on September 23, 2008, on CBS. The show was created by Bruno Heller who is also an executive producer. It tells the story of Patrick Jane, as an independent consultant, assisting the California Bureau of Investigation in a homicide investigation with unorthodox methods. In Malaysia this series aired in July 2009 on NTV7 and also TV2 on 14 July 2024.
