The film is directed by Paul Feig and produced by Todd Lieberman for Hidden Pictures. Feig and Laura Fischer are also producing. It is an adaptation by Rebecca Sonnenshine of the novel by Freida McFadden. In October 2024, Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried were reported to be leading the cast, and executive producers, alongside McFadden and Alex Young.^[1]
