The Gracies and the Birth of Vale Tudo is a documentary feature film written, produced, directed and narrated by Victor Cesar Bota.

In 2009, Bota finished the documentary feature film The Gracies and the Birth of Vale Tudo (Portuguese: Os Gracies e o Nascimento do Vale Tudo), which is about the Gracie family, the creators of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and the creation and expansion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship around the world. The Gracies and the Birth of Vale Tudo was screened at the Rio and São Paulo film festivals and in 2014 it started being distributed at Amazon Prime, where it is still been shown.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
