Gavan Sullivan (born December 23, 1997),[2] better known online as TheRealSullyG, is an American YouTuber and musician. He gained prominence for his Otamatone performances on his YouTube channel, where he has amassed over 2 million subscribers and millions of views.[3]
Career
[edit]Sullivan launched his YouTube channel, TheRealSullyG, in 2015. Initially producing custom instrumentals of various songs, Sullivan gained significant attention in 2016 for his Otamatone covers. Notably, his rendition of "Take on Me" using Otamatones went viral, contributing to his rise in popularity.
As of February 2024, he has uploaded over 300 videos on his main channel and amassed a total of over 900 million views. He also operated the channels "TheFakeSullyG", where he mostly posts side-by-side comparisons of his Otamatone covers and their original counterparts, and "Sully", where he uploads video essays and videos about music challenges.
