Tengku Shariffuddin Shah bin Tengku Laksamana Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj (Jawi: تڠكو شريفالدين شاه بن تڠكو لقسامان سليمان شاه الهاج) (born 16 June 1987) is a senior member of the Selangor royal family by his father, Y.A.M. Tengku Laksamana Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj.[1][2], and Johor royal family by his mother, Tunku Puteri Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Al-Marhum Sultan Iskandar, Tengku Puan Laksamana of Selangor[3].

His father, Y.A.M. Tengku Laksamana Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj is 2nd in the line of succession to the throne of Selangor and Tengku Shariffuddin Shah is currently 10th in line to the throne of Selangor[4][5]

Biography

Tengku Sulaiman Shah was born on 19 Shawwal 1407 AH Hijrah, corresponding to 16 June 1987 of the Gregorian calendar in Selangor, Malaysia. He is the fourth child of five of Y.A.M. Tengku Laksamana Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, son of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (1926–2001) and the brother of the current and 9th Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and Tunku Puteri Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Al-Marhum Sultan Iskandar of Johor, Tengku Puan Laksamana of Selangor, the eldest child of the 8th King of Malaysia, Sultan Iskandar of Johor (1932–2010) and the sister of Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar of Johor, the current and 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King of Malaysia)[6] and the 5th Sultan of modern Johor. He is also the grandson of Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, the 11th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, and Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, 8th Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Tengku Shariffuddin Shah was educated in Australia at Hale School, Perth. He furthered his studies in Industrial Design, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design at Lim Kok Wing University.

Marriage and Issue

On 30 April 2017, His Highness Tengku Shariffuddin Shah bin Tengku Sulaiman Shah married Che Puan (Lady) Juliana Evans, a Malaysian actress, TV personality, MC, and model.[12][13]

On 13 July 2019, Tengku Shariffuddin Shah and Che Puan Juliana Evans welcomed their first daughter named Her Highness Tengku Kamiliah Zanariah Ruby Ehsan Putri.[14]

On 17 June 2023, Tengku Shariffuddin Shah and Che Puan Juliana Evans welcomed their second daughter named Her Highness Tengku Saidatul'Ihsan Zabedah Fauziah Putri.[15]
