Temple Boys CPT is a South African gqom group founded in 2021 in Ravensmead, Western Cape. It consists of rappers Mr Gham, Mr Werkhom, Mr Areveerend, and Mr Stifler.[1] Their single "Saggies" went viral on TikTok.[2][3][4]
Career
[edit]In 2022, they gained popularity, particularly in the Western Cape region of South Africa.[5] They released their studio album, The Goats EP in 2022, which includes their single "Saggies".[6] The single attracted more than 1.1 million views and 100,000 followers on TikTok.[3][4]
In 2023, the group performed at the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup at Boland Park in Paarl.[7]
In 10 August 2024, they released an album titled Temple Boys Forever.[8]
