Early life
[edit]Jagdhari was born and raised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was born to Shakti and Navin Jagdhari on a Tuesday morning and is the elder of their two children. He grew up among lawyers in a Hindu joint family household.[11] He attended grades K-10 at La Martinière College. He spent his time participating in all sorts of extracurricular activities - including street theater to battle of the bands. He pioneered competitive boxing and sang as a basso profondo at the College Chapel Choir. He was also a prominent part of the College Marching Band as a Pipe major and a Bass drummer.[12] He attended senior high school at Seth M. R. Jaipuria School, where he developed a great appreciation for English literature. In 2018, he moved to Blacksburg, Virginia, United States, to pursue his degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech.
During his time in Virginia, he worked as a research assistant at the Nature-Inspired Fluids and Interfaces Lab,[13] where he largely performed experiments and published papers related to phase change phenomena, frost growth, and hygroscopic materials.[14][15] He was awarded the Louise H. and Diane E. Sharpe Sharpe Fellowship for outstanding accomplishments in undergraduate research.[16] He also investigated the self-assembly dynamics of colloidal nanoparticles in a time-varying magnetic as a researcher as a researcher at the Center for Soft Matter and Biological Physics.[17]
When he wasn't performing experiments in the labs, Jagdhari used to make short films and documentaries. He co-produced TedxVirginiaTech(2021).[18] During his free time, he played the guitar and synthesizer with his college band, Piper's Gate, at bars in and around the town of Blacksburg, Virginia. The band broke up after the sudden passing away of the rhythm guitarist. Jagdhari founded The Comedy Conglomerate with Samuel Frye, a stand-up comedy club - with no audition process.[19] He was the head of outreach and a founding member of the Light Saber Club.[20] He was also an eminent part of the New Music Ensemble at Virginia Tech.[21] He developed machine learning algorithms for the REmote SEnsing Payload Instrument (RESEPI) in collaboration with Inertial Labs[22][23] for his undergraduate thesis, after which Jagdhari moved to New York City to pursue his life's calling as an actor. He trained at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
