Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is an upcoming American superhero film written by Tyler Burton Smith. Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, it is an adaptation of the comic book miniseries The Last Ronin, co-written by Eastman and Laird alongside Tom Waltz.

[edit]In April 2024, it was announced at CinemaCon that a film adaptation of the five-issue comic book miniseries Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin (2020-22) was in development at Paramount Pictures, with Tyler Burton Smith writing the screenplay and Walter Hamada serving as a producer under his 18hz Productions company as part of a multi-year production deal with Paramount. It is expected to be the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film to carry an R rating.[1][2]
