Te Puhi Ariki Ngawai Hono i te Po Paki is the eighth Māori Monarch. She is the daughter of the previous Māori Monarch Tūheitia Pōtatau Te Wherowhero, and was announced as his successor and crowned on 5 September 2024.[1]
