Swedru School of Business is one of the popular senior high schools in the central region of Ghana. The school was first founded as a typing school in 1959. The Government of Ghana then took over the school's business in 1967 and was moved to it's present location in 1975.^[1]. The school was founded by Mr. John Essel^[1]. The school's motto is Self Reliance^[1]

Programs offered.

Though the school was initially offering only business-related programs, currently it offers a wide range of programs. These include business, general arts, general science, agricultural science and visual arts.
