Suvad Alagić was born on October 20, 1961 in Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina.[1] He writes prose and poetry for children and adults, as well as literary criticism. Awarded for stories. In 2008, his children's story "Dogovor" was published in Macedonian language , and his poem "Amen" was published in German in the German literary magazine "Der Literat". In 2011, he received the 3rd prize for the essay "Three Albert's Pictures", in the competition of the magazine "Koreni" from Kumanovo, Macedonia. In 2012, three of his poems were translated and published in Macedonian in the magazine "Sovremenost" from Skopje.[2][3][4]

From 2015 to 2017, an online edition of his novel "Isidora and Sergej"[5] was published in Serbia by Media Art (Novi Sad) and several online editions of the same novel in the United States of America. Then followed the publication of the electronic prose “Tajna očeve kuće”[6] and “Bilo jednom u Koraju” (publishers Media Art, Novi Sad and USA).[7]

Before the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he was the president of the then "Pablo Neruda" Literary Club in Brčko and the first president of the post-war Literary Club of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today, he is a member of the renewed "Pablo Neruda" Literary Club Brčko and a long-term member of the BH Journalists Association. He has a degree in political science, communication and journalism.[2]

At the beginning of 2019, the Government of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina published the second amended edition of his poetry collection "Kako sam postao samoodrživ".[8]

At the end of 2019, PLANJAX Tešanj publishes his novel "Nisam bandit, ja sam pjesnik"[9]. His novel "Isidora and Sergej" was also published in the edition of PLANJAX in 2020.[10]

He is employed at RNU "Radio Brčko" as a journalist, and currently holds the position of editor of the newspaper "Brčanski list".[11]
