Draft:Surf (condition)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Surf, when used in a meteorological context, refers to the height of waves on the surface of bodies of waters in a shoreline's surf zone that can dictate the conditions for surfing activities. High surf can be caused by distant storms, and results in larger than usual waves breaking within the surf zone.[1]
