Stuart Wayne Millward (b. 1977) is a British Magician. Fascinated by magic at an early age he became a professional magician[1] and was an owner of House of Magic UK, the UK's largest magic store having purchased the business from former owner John Milner.[2][3]
Career
[edit]Millward was taught magic by John Milner at House of Magic UK, Old Quarter, Stourbridge, West Midlands. When Milner decided to sell the business, Millward purchased it in 2017.[4][5]The store became known for providing the magic community with props and books for performing as well as hosting lectures from leading magicians.[6] In 2014 Millward spearheaded a campaign and successfully stopped the local council from introducing parking permits in the Old Quarter, which would have forced local businesses to close.[7][8] Millward closed the store in 2018 and it was later reopened in 2021 by another pupil of Milner's. Millward still currently performs as a magician. [9]
