Stray is an upcoming American animated film based on the video game of the same name developed by Koola and Viv[a] from their company BlueTwelve Studio, and produced from Annapurna Animation.

Plot

A stealthy cat who must traverse an underground city populated by robots and mutant bacteria with the help of a friendly drone, B-12.

On September 5, 2023, Annapurna Pictures was set to produce an animated feature film adaptation of Stray after the success of its first film Nimona (2023). Robert Baird, co-head of animation, felt the game was suitable for adaptation due to its popularity, as well as its buddy comedy and hopepunk elements.[2]
