If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Steven R. (born October 12, 2006) known online as Stizz, is an American online streamer, YouTuber, and musician known for his online presence and content creation.
Early life and education
[edit]Stizz and his family were born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he developed a deep connection to music from a young age. He credits his early exposure to music to his father, who was involved in music production. Growing up surrounded by musical influences at home, Stizz and his older brother spent time observing their father's music-making process in their basement, which significantly influenced their own musical journeys later on.[1]
Career
[edit]2022-present: Content creation
[edit]Stizz uploaded his first YouTube video and started streaming on August 12, 2022.[2] He initially joined the group K$4G and recently left due to inactivity. He has been guided by his viewers on Twitch and YouTube (notably Supremio and DZ) into making the best content he possibly can, and supporting him and his career.
2020-present: Music
[edit]Stizz's interest in music began to take shape during middle school, particularly after discovering rappers like Eminem and Meek Mill. Inspired by these artists and influenced by the music culture in Philadelphia, Stizz started exploring his own musical inclinations. Initially, he didn't actively pursue music-making but enjoyed listening to various genres and styles.
In 2020, during a transitional period in his life, Stizz began experimenting with music production and songwriting using apps like BandLab. He initially used these platforms for fun, creating experimental tracks with friends. Over time, his interest in music grew, leading him to create more serious projects and delve deeper into the craft of music production.
In 2022, Stizz released "Story of Stizz," his first ever song publicly available.[3]
