Steve is a Cultural figure usually recasting the biblical figure Eve, Often assosiated with homosexuality. Steve is often known also as Adam's Husband. A sometimes satirical phrase recasting the Biblical couple of Adam and Eve as a homosexual couple, Adam and Steve. In context, it is usually used as a pejorative against either homosexuality or religious opposition to it, expecially in the homophobic slogan "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve"[1][2]. While the origin of Steve is homophobic, many in the LGBTQ Community have adopted him as a gay icon. for an example, Paul Rudnick wrote the play The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, which has a gay couple named Adam and Steve.[3] An alternative depiction of Steve sometimes depict him as the third human god created.
