The choir was initially named "Spring of Life," but was rebranded to Spring of Hope on April 3, 2023, to avoid confusion with another similarly named group. The initial leadership of the choir included Nagawa Faith as President and Tumwebaze Mike as Vice President.
Career

The album features eight tracks that combine elements of gospel music and traditional African rhythms, reflecting the choir's unique style and message. The songs, written by various choir members and local songwriters, explore themes of faith, hope, and spiritual resilience. Abadde Yesu was well-received by local audiences and helped establish SOH as an emerging force in Uganda’s gospel music scene. The album’s official launch, held during a concert at Bright Comprehensive Secondary School, marked a significant milestone in the choir's journey, showcasing their ability to create music that resonates with both their community and broader audiences.
Mission and Community Engagement
[edit]The primary aim of the choir is to spread messages of faith, hope, and love through their music. SOH's members also engage in various community activities, including participating in local church services and outreach programs that focus on promoting positive values and spiritual growth among young people. The choir's activities extend beyond music performance, as they seek to foster social unity and contribute to the personal development of youth in their community.
Future Aspirations
[edit]As a relatively new choir, SOH aims to expand its reach and influence both locally and internationally. They plan to collaborate with other artists and choirs and continue to produce music that aligns with their mission of inspiring others through faith and hope.
