Sonya Dunbar (born March 31, 1969), also known as “The Geriatric Tooth fairy”, is an American licensed dental hygienist, entrepreneur, author, and public speaker. She is recognized for her contributions to geriatric oral healthcare, with over 30 years of experience working in private practices, nursing facilities, and academic settings..[1]. Dunbar is also a US Navy veteran and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in gerontology[1][2].
