"Sleep" is a song by the American rock band My Chemical Romance, released on their third studio album, The Black Parade. The song was a late addition to the album and was written after the band's frontman Gerard Way started experiencing night terrors in the Paramour Mansion, the house in which the band would stay while writing and recording some of the tracks for the album.[1]

Reception

[edit]

NME called "Sleep" the album's "...big body-builder Tool moment..." that "punches their heavy metal card."[2] Entertainment Weekly criticized the song, calling it "out of place and unremarkable" if not played live.[3]
