Simon Daglish is deputy managing director for commercial sales at ITV.
Career
[edit]Daglish began his career in journalism with roles at the Daily Express, Daily Telegraph, and Independent Magazines. He initially started as a runner during the final days of Fleet Street, noting that it was the only opportunity available to him at the time. He later transitioned to radio at Classic FM, served as commercial director at GCap/Global Radio, and became VP of Sales at MySpace. Daglish joined ITV Commercial in 2011 as group commercial director and was promoted to deputy managing director, commercial sales, in 2015. He is the chairman of Nabs, a charity supporting mental wellbeing in advertising, and founded the military charity Walking with the Wounded. Daglish received an OBE in the 2023 King's Birthday Honours for his charitable contributions.[1]
