Siam Fantasy

Siam Fantasy (Thai: สยามแฟนตาซี)is a theatrical venue showcasing Thai arts and culture. Located at Asiatique The Riverfront between Charoen Krung Soi 72-76, Wat Phraya Krai Subdistrict, Bang Kho Laem District, Bangkok, the theater occupies Warehouse 4, previously home to Muay Thai Live - The Legend Lives , The Stage @Asiatique. Siam Fantasy combines the beauty of traditional Thai heritage with state-of-the-art technologies, including LED screens, advanced lighting, and a high-quality sound system, delivering a unique and immersive live performance experience.

Construction of Siam Fantasy began in February 2024 and was completed in April of the same year. The inaugural performance was held on September 1, 2024. The performances focus on Thai culture, including traditional martial arts such as muay Thai and Thai swordsmanship, aiming to captivate both Thai and international audiences while promoting and preserving Thailand's cultural heritage.

Venue and Schedule

The Siam Fantasy Theater, located in Warehouse 4, features 564 standard seats and 28 VIP seats. Performances are held three times daily at 17:00, 19:30, and 21:30 (the 21:30 session is not yet operational in 2024). Each show lasts approximately 50 minutes.

Performances

Siam Fantasy performances are divided into four acts, each showcasing the rich diversity of Thai culture:

Act 1: Siam Way of Life This act celebrates the beauty of Thai civilization and traditional way of life, featuring performances such as Sabud Chai Drumming, Nang Yai ,Khon , and regional traditions like Manorah, Loy Krathong/Lanna Kingdom, Songkran/Ayutthaya Kingdom, Naga Dance, and Rocket Festival. It provides both educational and entertaining insights into Thai culture.^[1]
Act 2: Belief and Faith This act reflects the Thai spirit and warrior traditions through performances like Muay Thai Ritual Dance(Wai khru ram muay), Sak Yant Tattooing, and Muay Thai Fights. It weaves together Thai culture, spirituality, and historical legacy.^[2]
Act 3: Rattanakosin Celebration This act showcases the Rattanakosin Era's prosperity, 1800's in Siam, cultural diversity, and unique art forms. It highlights the vibrant economic and cultural exchanges of the era, blending Eastern culture and Westernization to portray the rich heritage of Thailand.^[3]
Act 4: Civilization of Siam The final act illustrates the vibrancy of Thai civilization and the cultural fusion of Thai and foreign influences from the past to the present.^[4]

Events and Special Activities

1. ASIATIQUE THAILAND COUNTDOWN 2025

On December 31, 2024, Siam Fantasy will join the grand countdown event at Asiatique The Riverfront under the theme “ROCK & LUCK.” The event features legendary Thai rock bands such as Big Ass, Cocktail, and Getsunova, along with a special performance by Japanese group ONE N' ONLY. Additional shows by Calypso and Siam Fantasy will complete this unforgettable celebration.^[5]

2. SIAM J-SHOW FAN CONCERT 2024

On December 1, 2024, Siam Fantasy Theater will host the SIAM J-SHOW FANCONCERT 2024, a special event featuring renowned Japanese artists such as WOLF HOWL HARMONY, Psychic Fever, and Ballistik Boyz.^[6] This concert strengthens cultural ties and entertainment exchanges between Thailand and Japan.

3. MISS GRAND NAKHON NAYOK, ANGTHONG, AND NONG BUA LAMPHU

The theater also supporting MISS GRAND a local and national initiatives in arts and cultural representation.
