Shirin Akter (born August 26, 1996), better known as Shirin Shila, is a Bangladeshi film actress and model. She made her big-screen debut in 2014 with the film Hitman.[1]
Career
[edit]Before stepping into the silver screen, she worked in television dramas such as Gulshan Avenue, Ronger Mela, Bonbala, and Panditer Mela.[2][3] She made her silver screen debut in 2014 during Eid-ul-Fitr with the film Hitman[4][5] . For this film, she was nominated in the "Best Newcomer" category at the Meril Prothom Alo Awards. In December 2014, her second film, Khoniker Bhalobasha, was released[6] . On March 18, 2016, her film Miya Bibi Raji was released, followed by Mon Jane Na Moner Thikana on April 2, 2016[6][7][8]
In addition to acting, she has also been seen in modeling. She worked as a model in advertisements for Britol Biscuit and Pran Fruitola[9][10] . Furthermore, she featured in the music videos for Asif's songs O Kanya and Tomare[11][12][13]
