Shedd is an upcoming American computer-animated adventure comedy film directed by Chris Wedge. produced by 20th Century Animation and released by 20th Century Studios.

[edit]In January 2014, it was reported that former Disney and Pixar animator John Kahrs would direct for Paramount Animation an animated film titled Shedd, which was based on an original idea by Adam Goodman.

Revivial by 20th Century Animation and Prime Focus
[edit]In September 2024, it was announced that 20th Century Studios had picked up Shedd earlier in the year, and would be releasing on its theatrically service in 2026. 20th Century Animation and DNEG Animation was announced as the project's animation partner. Chris Wedge
In September 2024, Chris Wedge revealed on X he was working on an original feature film at 20th Century Studios. At the D23 fan event in September 2024, it was announced that Wedge's film would be titled Shedd.
Release
[edit]Shedd is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 24, 2026.
