Early life
[edit]Born Shawn Logan Michaud on March 9th, 2004 at Mount Desert Island Hospital [1]in Bar Harbor, Maine, Shawn grew up in nearby Trenton. He attended Trenton Elementary School for Primary School, in 9th grade he transferred out of public school into homeschooling. From an early age, Michaud had gravitated to music, where eventually in 5th grade he began using school laptops to craft music on GarageBand. From there, Shawn began self teaching the in and outs of DAW softwares, music theory and production.
Career
[edit]An aspiring actor along with an established musician and drag personality, Shawn has always been involved and interested with the entertainment industry. Beginning his drag career in 2022, he went on to perform at Aura Pride in 2023 in Portland, Maine where he starred alongside other local entertainers and Drag Race Season 14 Contestant, Kornbread. Shawn has also released a number of Solo tracks and EP’s[2] some of his most notable work being “Summer Night’s” (Released 2021), “Why” (Released 2022) and “Neon Rush” (Released 2023). Shawn began widening his career horizons when he started auditioning for television and movie projects. As of 2024, he has not had any notable roles though is active in casting calls across the country.
Personal life
[edit]Shawn Michaud finished highschool in 2022, and as of 2024, is not currently attending college. As of June 2024 Shawn is 20 years old. He identifies as gay and as cited in social media[3] posts that dealing with his queer identity in a small town shaped his view on life and art. Shawn is the nephew of Maine based rap artist 22Smoke.
