Shailesh Haribhakti was born on March 12, 1956. He pursued his graduation from the University of Mumbai and later qualified as a Chartered Accountant. An advocate of lifelong learning, Haribhakti holds multiple certifications, including Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Financial Planner, and Certified Fraud Examiner. He has also completed the Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner (CSAP) course, underscoring his commitment to sustainability and ethical governance. Haribhakti has been awarded an honorary PhD by ITM University and the Global Competent Boards Designation by Competent Boards Inc.[1], Canada, for his distinguished contributions to corporate governance and board practices globally.
