Seyed Javad Zaker was an Iranian soldier, military leader, and maddah who was a prominent and active figure who fought in the Iraq-Iran war. He sang an Islamic non-instrumental recitation which many Shia Muslims recite, Noha, in the Persian language Farsi. When he died in the late 1900s at the age 30, the popular Iranian maddah AbdulReza Helali paid a tribute to him by recited a Noha in his honour.
