At the age of 20, after graduating from university, he moved to Moscow, where he got a job at the Moscow branch of Smolensk Bank as an economist in the marketing department.
For more than three years, he was involved in the logistics business with China.
In 2015, Sergey Kosenko completed business training known in Russia as "Business Youth". Thanks to the program, the idea to expand his business product line was born. In addition to the Sleepy blankets with sleeves, he began selling other products. As a result, the The Kosenko Retail Group included the ‘Siberia’ sweater brand, known for reindeer patterns, the wool accessories brand "Grandma Knits", and the home fragrance brand Arome Paris.

Educational Projects
[edit]In 2023, Sergey began teaching short video creation in a course called Reels Royce.
By December 31, 2023, his English-language Instagram account had already garnered 100,000 followers. He became known as Mr. Thank You among influencers, and he decided to rename his page accordingly. The name also carried the idea of gratitude.
A new turning point came after purchasing mentorship for $50,000 from blogger Anar Dreams, who has 20 million followers on TikTok, for advice on promoting video content. Anar was the first to suggest that Mr. Thank You use fake movie money in his videos. Soon after, he started giving away real money to his followers, distributing $50,000 over a month.

This type of content creation has social significance.

Public Reaction to Mr. Thank You's Viral Videos
[edit]In 2021, news broke of Sergey's deportation from the island of Bali.
At that time, Sergey posted an entertaining video on his Instagram account where he jumped into the ocean on a motorbike. The video quickly garnered millions of views and caught the attention of a local human rights activist, who was outraged by his actions. However, Sergey's retrieval of the motorbike from the water, check of its functionality, and gift to an Indonesian person went unnoticed. The activist accused the influencer of environmental pollution and visa violations.
The official reason for deportation and a six-month entry ban was the organization of a 50-person party during COVID-19 restrictions, which Sergey allegedly hosted, though he was not even present at the event. All restrictions have now been lifted.
Other popular stunt videos received public backlash as well. In one video, Sergey was driving with his friend, blogger Ilona Drozh, who was handcuffed to his wrist, while she was riding on the roof of the car.
