Sean Jones (b. December 13, 2003) is a point guard for the Marquette Eagles. He made his college debut on November 7, 2023 against Redford University.[1] and currently wears the #22 jersey.
High School Career
[edit]Sean played for the Gahanna Lions Basketball Team from 2020-2022, and was named the OHSAA Division 1 Player Of The Year after hailing an average of 20 points per game in the 21-22 season. He led the Lions to back-to-back district titles and at the time was the all-time leading scorer at Gahanna-Lincoln. He was named the conference MVP as a junior and a senior, and during his high-school career, competed on the Nike EYBL circuit with All-Ohio Red[2].
College Career
[edit]Jones made his college debut against Radford University on November 7, 2023[3], where he scored 4 points. He then scored nine points in a win over Carnegie Mellon University[4], and then scored his personal best of 11 points[5] two games later against Georgia Tech on November 26[6] of the same year. In a loss against Butler University later in the year, he tore his ACL, ending his season[7]
