[edit]

Between 1979 and 1981, Gardner completed a General Education diploma at Prospect High School. He then attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1987.[4]

Career

[edit]

Gardner began his career in marketing and technology promotions, founding ImageNetwork in 1987, a company that specialized in channel promotions for tech firms.[5] The company grew rapidly, and was later sold to Full Moon Interactive.[4] Gardner joined Full Moon as a Managing Director and helped grow the firm to over 200 employees.[6]

In 2000, Gardner co-founded Liquid Agency with the aim of transforming how companies approached branding, especially in Silicon Valley.[7][8] The company became known for working with innovative tech companies like Walmart, Nasdaq, Google, Nike, Nordstrom, Microsoft, Silicon Valley Bank and John Deere, among others.[9] Liquid Agency has expanded its presence globally, with additional offices in New York, Portland, and Santiago.[10] The company later acquired a Dallas-based employment branding agency MindHandle.[11]
