Sara Mansour is a Jordanian fashion designer and label.

Early life and education

[edit]

Mansour was born and raised in Amman, Jordan. She received her education at the London College of Fashion, the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, and Woodbury University.[1][2][3]

Career

[edit]

Mansour's first fashion show was at Woodbury University, held at the Peacock Theater. In Los Angeles, Mansour collaborated with local designers such as Louis Verdad.[1][2] Mansour interned with a patternmaking university instructor to gain additional experience before returning to Amman.[1][3]

In 2015-2016, Mansour started her own eponymous high-end fashion brand in Amman.[2][3][1][4] She began designing ready-to-wear clothing, gowns and bridal wear. Her first clothing line was in Spring/Summer of 2016. A few of her pieces were sold at a London boutique.[3][1]

In 2019, Vogue Italia wrote that Mansour’s collection for Jordan Fashion Week featured "hand-embroidered details and precious appliqué".[4]

In 2021, Mansour worked with Jordanian modelling agency "Zvemeché" to launch her collection inspired by Juno Moneta.[5]

In 2023, Mansour was chosen to design a dress for the hologram of singer Umm Kulthum.[1]
