[edit]Santosh Bilgundi was born in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, India. His father, Dr. Bhimashankar Bilgundi, is a well-known figure in the state's political landscape, having served as the president of the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society (HKES) for two terms.
Career & Entrepreneurship
[edit]Santosh Bilgundi is an Indian politician and entrepreneur from Kalaburagi, Karnataka. He is the son of Dr. Bhimashankar Bilgundi, a former president of the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society (HKES).
In addition to his political endeavors, Bilgundi has pursued a career in the corporate world. He is currently a director at Karuna Motors (Gulbarga) Private Limited, a position he has held since April 12, 2010.
In March 2024, Bilgundi ran for the presidency of HKES but lost to Shashil G. Namoshi by a margin of 113 votes. He has also pursued a career in politics as a member of the Indian National Congress Party. Additionally, he was one of the Congress party aspirants for the Kalaburagi South constituency in the 2023 assembly elections.
