Ryan Spraker is an American record producer, sound engineer, mixer, songwriter, and musician. Known for his versatility, Spraker has collaborated with artists including Weezer, Nickelback, Aly & AJ, Arkells, Eli "Paperboy" Reed, and Watsky. He is also a founding member of the Juno Award-winning writer/producer collective Fast Friends[1] and is associated with Defend Music, a Los Angeles-based publishing company.[2]
Early Years
[edit]Spraker began his musical journey in the Boston punk scene, later joining Eli "Paperboy" Reed as guitarist and musical director, leading to extensive touring and writing contributions.[3]

[edit]- Weezer: Contributed to The White Album (2016) with co-writing and additional production on "Wind in Our Sail".[4]
- Nickelback: Co-wrote "Song on Fire" on Feed the Machine (2017).[5]
- Aly & AJ: Co-wrote and produced "Take Me" (2017), the duo’s comeback single.[6]
- Arkells: Produced tracks for Blink Twice (2022).[7]
- Zolita: Produced tracks on Queen of Hearts (2024).[8]
- Watsky: Co-produced the album Placement (2020), contributing to tracks such as "Undermine" featuring Raquel Rodriguez.[9]
