Biographical Summary

Rui Carruço Lisboa, 19 January 1976 initially pursued an academic life deeply rooted in exact sciences until he merged this passion with Art, particularly in painting. From a young age, he explored art as a self-taught individual, but it was in 1998 that he began approaching it in a more structured manner. In 2000, he studied drawing at the National Society of Fine Arts, followed by engraving at the Portuguese Engravers Cooperative in 2003. In 2005, journeyed to Italy to explore renaissance techniques at the Angel Academy of Arts in Florence. In 2013, he co-founded the Atelier Internacional de Belas Artes, and more recently, in 2022, he released "Sombras da Arte" his debut novel inspired by his artistic journey.

Techniques and Creative Process
